Prices in Gold
This is the pricing model I've put together which amalgamates all of the data sources I used to use individually, to see prices in gold and inflation-adjusted trends. This is by far my most visited page. Core data updates monthly; supported rows also have weekly updates. Use this model to put the fundamentals in proper perspective.
Price rows divide each item's dollar price by the dollar price of gold, so those prices appear in ounces of gold rather than dollars; interest rates and the Dollar Index stay in percent and index points. Gold is the default unit for prices - you can switch the charts to US dollars, silver or CPI-adjusted dollars.
